Panchakarma
Ayurveda is a science that emphasizes on adopting the art of disciplined and balanced living to achieve longevity. It embraces many forms of preventive and healing techniques which involves various methods of purification and rejuvenation. Panchakarma is an Ayurvedic Detoxification Treatment which cleanses the body of toxic materials. Over a while due to sedentary lifestyle, poor dietary habits, lack of proper exercise, health problems, etc., waste materials also called as ‘ama’ in Ayurveda tends to get accumulated in the body. This results in the accumulation and spread of toxins which is the root cause of many diseases. The process of Panchakarma is adopted to eradicate these toxins from our body. The word Panchakarma is a Sanskrit word which means ‘five actions’. This process helps not only to eliminate the harmful waste materials from our body but also to correct the imbalance in the doshas (Vata, Pitta and Kapha). Through this method, the tissues are purified at a deep level to restore good health.
